Chandrani pearls have taken an
initiative to spend some time with the lovely senior citizens at St. Joseph’s
Old Age Home, Minto Park. The lovable and adorable seniors thoroughly enjoyed
themselves at the event. It was a great opportunity for Chandrani Pearls to
share happiness with them.
Mrs. Joyshree Lahiri, a prominent
classical singer, sang bhajan at the event. Interactive games were played with them
and a Bengali band ‘Kanvas’ also performed at the event.
Chandrani Pearls had a wonderful time with
them as it could bring smile on their faces. Some senior citizens were moved
into tears and expressed their grief to us. Their family does not come to meet
and spend some with them. They feel abandoned and helpless even if when they
are being loved and cared at this place.
At the end of the event pearl earrings
were given to them as a memento
at that great day. Chandrani Pearls hopes to
spend a joyous and playful time with those lovely people once again. It also
hopes to give continuous love and support in the days to come.
